The January 29-30, 2025 symposium is the inaugural conference of the French chapter of Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology.

The theme is “Building links”. To this end, the event favors a variety of formats to encourage interaction, dialogue and networking between archaeologists with an interest in computational and quantitative approaches. Four formats are at the heart of the two-day event: a workshop and a PhD students and early career researcher's forum with calls for papers; a round table on FAIR issues; a forum of collectives to publicize French initiatives in computational archaeology.
